Backend Developer (Jakarta EE / Quarkus) Fully Remote (Germany)
We're supporting a health tech company that's reimagining how therapy practices runthink clean code, clear values, and critical impact. Theyre now looking for a Backend Developer to help evolve their backend systems, architecture, and deliveryall from wherever you work best in Germany.
What youll do:
- Design, build, and maintain backend services using Jakarta EE and Quarkus
- Develop new product features and shape architectural decisions
- Ensure secure, clean code and backend scalability
- Work in a stable Scrum team alongside frontend, QA, and product colleagues
- Be part of a pragmatic, performance-oriented dev culture
What youll need:
- 3+ years of Java backend development experience
- Hands-on with Jakarta EE and Quarkus
- Understanding of clean code and backend security standards
- Agile (Scrum) mindset and collaborative working style
- Fluent German (C1)
Nice to have:
- REST API and microservices experience
- Exposure to CI/CD or DevOps practices
