Job description
Our client is a private equity backed medtech business in Europe, selling capital equipment into radiation oncology — systems that go into the treatment room, with service contracts attached. The customers are hospitals and, increasingly, private multi-site radiotherapy chains and clinic groups with central procurement, across Europe and the US. Profitable, growing, and an agile mid-market setup rather than a large corporate structure.
Aufgaben
- Lead the international sales organisation: lead the country sales leaders with end to end funnel ownership from lead to close (Focus on US & Europe, Asia)
- Own the profitable growth story — growth priced for margin rather than volume, not bought with discount
- Build the KPI structure and run the CRM as the single source of truth, ensure reliable forecasting with risks and chances flagged upfront
- Build a data-driven sales engine on a fully mapped addressable customer base, country by country — coverage set from the installed base, renewals timed in the CRM
- Build a hunter organisation: weekly performance rhythm, ambitious plans, acting on underperformance
- Stay hands-on in the field and in tenders, and own tender and commission management
- Take over non-MedTech business (approx. 30% of revenue) following successful acceleration of MedTech revenue
Qualifikation
- 7+ years leading international B2B sales in complex capital equipment or MedTech — €50–100k+ per system, 6–18 month cycles, tender-driven; radiation oncology or adjacent clinical hardware is a big plus
- Sold into clinical departments and private, multi-site provider groups with central procurement is a big plus — you know that buying centre from the inside
- Transformed a sales organisation into a hunter organisation — took people along, swapped selectively
- Runs CRM, pipeline and forecasting as management instruments and ensures transparency & accuracy along the funnel
- Hands-on in the field and in tenders, rather than steering from behind a laptop
- Thrives in an agile mid-market setup rather than large corporate infrastructure
- Fluent English
- Willingness to travel internationally
Benefits
- Direct reporting line to the CEO with full commercial mandate over structure, systems, pricing and people
- PE-backed growth with a clear plan and the capital behind it
- Location flexibility across Europe to the US East Coast, with regular presence at the European headquarters
